>about-humans

>humans are an odd species compared to lutrans and other species that have been introduced to use via their contact with the ipto (inter-planetary trade organization). unlike other species that have been introduced to us they are interested in other cultures even if the interest is sometimes paired with a primal distrust of the unknown. humans themselves are mostly furless creature with a similar body to the standard animal, their ears rest at the sides of their heads instead of the top. fur is typically grown on them during their adult years instead of during their youth however this does echo in animals with additional fur growth on the chin, chest and etc. their tails although furless until adult years act as a seperate controllable long finger instead of being just an additional tool for body language. they are a species with a population estimated to be at around ahundred thousand, far off from the estimated population on lutra of 1.5 million. most human history was lost on their travel away from their home planet, from what documentation we have about them they have evolved and changed since their travel from their home system. they were once a hyper-mercantile species but now act as a worker species for other members of the ipto due to their biological proficency at making things as effecient as possible. most operations on the home ship itself known as novus is unknown as its heavily locked down from viewing by other species other than high ranking ipto members but what emigrates say reveals a landscape similar to their home planet, earth. it is unknown why humans left their home planet but it is known that a sharp population decrease occured before they left earth.

>they have an ability to use magic like lutrans also having souls like us, however they seem to be less adapt at using it. magic seems to be both a familiar and unfamiliar concept to humans as writings from the archive tell of stories that sound familiar to lutrans childhoods. tales of dragons, warlocks, demons and various forms of spriits litter story books but they appear to be more just fictional creations that spread across cultures instead of something factual. Most of their technology is not based on harnessing pure energy itself but rather converting an existing energy to another type or using a single type of energy (electrical) to mimic other energy types (telepathic energy) while this is not unheard of (see the Astraline for better communication over using telepathy) the technological use being created before a magic alternative is unheard of.
